AFAIK, there is no FAR against landing with a tailwind. I do it fairly regularly in order to help keep gravel off of the prop, but I always think about it before I do it. How long is the runway? Is it wet/icy? How much tailwind? Am I loaded or nearly empty?

Restrain him? Isn't that a little overboard for a misdemeanor? What if you are flying in Alaska, where personal use is permitted? Or maybe he has a medical from his doctor saying he can? Or what if he is recieving a BJ from his wife? That is illegal in 26 states... Deal with the the same as if it were a cigarette, I'd say.

If that technique is outside of what they taught in the sims, I'd carry the discussion further with the Captain about why we were doing things differently...hopefully we'll figure it out from there.

Here's one - After all the passengers have deplaned and your walking off the aircraft for the night, you see a flight attendant take a bottle of wine with her off of the airplane. What do you do?

Do you confront her or just call her supervisor and report her? I would say something to her that it's against company rules and she should put it back.

Did she get one for you and the FO too? If not, that's definitely a foul and you should send her back to the plane...

Has any one had an interview with United recently?

Also, do I really want to work for them as their pay is now one of the lowest in the industry....

What can a first officer expect to make the first year?, the 2nd the 3rd,...
Would ORD be a junior base?,

Do we have any say as th which AC we will be placed on upon hire?. The 777 is the best paying so who gets it as a new hire?

Thanks
