Ameriflight will be more fun. Regional flying will suck your soul.

Wow, I am guessing the TPIC crowd is playing with an old deck of cards and doesn't work for AMF. TPIC is not a requirement anymore.

Most all 121 minded AMFers go to a regional after AMF anyway, even with that glorious TPIC.
Now if you are 135/91 minded AMF can help you get on with some SoCal operators.

Some have left AMF for alliegiant, but that was after seven years. You are just as competitive as a seven year fo, which will most likely be captain seven years from now barring a world melt down.

QOL is much better at a regional. Airlines are like a part time job compared to the split shift hell that is AMF.

Take the multi turbine PIC gig if you get it. Put about 1500 under your belt and go to the regionals for the jet/glass/multi-crew/CRM environment.

Several posters are saying you dont need TPIC to move but I'd be surprised if their examples of FOs moving on weren't fairly well connected. If its so easy, why haven't the posters who say you dont need it moved on?

Also, everyone saying majors don't require TPIC are eliminating a few jobs you may want to apply to. FedEx, SWA, UPS all require at least 1000 TPIC to apply, but realistically probably not competitive unless it came in a grey pointy nose jet.
