Driving Record
Any suggestions for how to get a copy of your driving record nationally? I live in Washington. The only known ticket I have is in Texas, but I want to make sure. Ive been pulled over other times and not ticketed. The washington DOL website says I can get a driving record but it doesn't say if it's nation wide. I'm under the impression it's not. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Your Motor Vehicle Record is based on your DL# in the the state you live, and any reciprocities it has with other states on reporting violations. Most states reciprocate, so if you do not see it on your MVR, then it was never reported or the the time has lapsed.

There is something called the national driver register, and if you send them a notarized letter they will send you a copy of any records on you (probably not during a gov't shutdown, though).
In general speeding tickets and such don't show up there. Only things like DUI and license suspension/revocation.
Probably your insurance company has the most complete records, honestly.
