Default US Airways Application Issue

I am looking for a little help from someone/ anyone with US Airways in the know. Here is my issue: I applied over the summer before I took a hard look and reconciled my logbook. After about a month of transferring my paper logbook to digital I reapplied due to the fact that my hours were way off. I attempted to access my application, but was unable to get to the hours section. So I applied with a second separate email account. About 10 days later, in the fall, I got an email at the first address asking for me to reapply with the new requisition number. This new requisition number was the same one I applied with on my second application, so I am in the clear there, but I never updated my first app. My concern is that my two applications (one fairly current and the other never updated with a new requisition number) might be hindering my chances. Should I delete the first one with the old req. number? Reapply using the first email with a new req. number? Withdraw from consideration with the first email and keep the app with the second email? I am royally confused. I spoke with an US Airways FO acquaintance and he said don't worry about it. I am just looking for some insight. Thank you in advance.

I'm in the same boat. I applied yesterday using hours from before my most recent logbook update. I kind of thought when it said you can't change it, that it meant, you can't change it until the entire application is complete. It seems kind of strange to have an application that you can't update.

I think there is another thread that mentions not being able to update your US Air app. I don't have the forum permissions to read all of it though, which is dumb.

Is the airways app even available? It redirected me to AA now.

It's at the bottom of the page on the AA careers site under General Information. You can view your AA or US Air application separately. If you could just update the damn thing, it'd be great.

Updating doesn't improve your chances on getting a call. As long as you are showing some TPIC/CA time on it you're fine. If you didn't get an email soon after submitting you're in the pool. Good luck.

Does airways still have that RIDICULOUS fetish about not having a "training event" in the last five years? Did I mention how RIDICULOUS it is/was?

The whole airline application process is a joke. Airlineapps.com process is borderline, perhaps, the biggest April fools day joke ever.

I couldn't agree more. Getting my log book matched up on airlineapps has made me loose my sanity......
