Great Post but to clarify, it seems that if I was hired on the B737, I'd have a good chance of holding a IAH base; simplifying my life tremendously if I lived in the Houston area. Am I correct?

Assuming there isn't a seniority skew and displacements going on for the IAH 737.

Just because you live in a base DOESNT mean you can hold the base. However, living in base DOES simplify your life tremendously.
