Default Interview Follow Up

I interviewed with an airline 2 weeks ago and had a paperwork issue that needed to be resolved. I've sent the documents that were needed and received an email back from HR telling me thanks and she will contact me in a day or two to follow up. That's been over a week now. Should I send an email back and see if there are any updates? I don't want to be pushy, but the whole aviation interview protocol is so bassakwards than the rest of the world. I've received a letter from the faa saying my pira records have been requested.

Just call them. Reference the 1-2 day time frame they stipulated, tell them it's been X days, and you just want to make sure all is well. There is no harm in calling.
