Oh yeah, did one of these @ Airnet, and one of the other guys wore a Tie, I thought Craig Washka was going to start a crazy fit about him wearing that tie!

Keep that pimp hand strong.

For a two day interview can you just wear the same thing both days or should I wear black one day and blue the next, or just wear blue both days and switch the tie. I'm overthinking it I know, I'm just really nervous and I want everything to go perfect.

I'd say new shirt and tie on day two...if you're being interviewed by guys no one will notice. Women probably will.

Thanks for the help guys.

I interviewed with SWA last year and a dude showed up wearing the standard suit, ect.... however he wore these huge hairy gorilla feet over his shoes....the entire day. He left the hotel with them and wore them all day! He got attention.....but I don't think he got the job! Wear the suit and look just like everyone else…..and relax.

One of the reasons to wear blue is that is the color of most uniforms. However, if the uniform is known to be black, it wouldn't be bad to wear. The idea is to help them picture you as one of their own.

Brown suit to UPS?! MMMMMmmmm......no. :-)

I've always wondered why specific colors are considered standard. Is a red tie versus a blue tie or black suit versus blue suit really that big a deal? While there have been jokes here, I really question the validity of standard colors. Would this really matter if you're well groomed and wearing a nicely tailored, professional-looking (conservative) suit?

No.

See. That was easy. :)

There is talk about a red tie being a "power" color, and gold being a conservative or thoughtful color. Dark color ties often are regarded as somber.

Ya, whatever.

Just be sure that when you look at yourself in the mirror, you say, "Danm, I look good!" You'll feel better about yourself.

TIP

If you are not comfortable wearing a suit, wear it to some lunches or otherwise around town running errands. You don't want to be getting used to it at the interview! NEVER WEAR BRAND NEW SHOES TO THE INTERVIEW! THEY'LL HURT YOUR FEET!!! But they must, must, MUST be well shined!!!!!!!! It will do you NO good to have a spiffy suit and tie and $hitty shoes!

Are you going to button your jacket when you stand up? THINK about those kinds of things before hand!!!
