The government does NOT maintain records for defunct airlines. As part of the shutdown process a custodian should have been appointed to maintain corporate records, including PRIA-reportable records....perhaps a law firm or records management co. You'll have to track them down...try your old buds.

There is no requirement for a defunct company to have a guardian or custodian for the records. I just went thru this with my former employer.
