Talking Back after 5 years.......

Hey guys I'm former XJ Mesaba FO on on the Saab 340 I was furloughed back in 2010. During that time I've paid most if my debt off, bought some rental properties and started a small business. I've reach a point where I'm somewhat financially stable.

Long story short-
I am seriously thinking about rejoining the regionals
I haven't touched a plane in 3 years but shouldn't take me long to get back in the grove

my stats;
Age 33
First class medical
1650 TT
815 Turbine (all Saab)
Reside; NY metro area
QOL is most important
And I rather not Commute ...lol

I'm hoping to start applying by March or April -depending if how quickly to get back my competency

Questions:

I have not yet taken ATP written. Ive heard some carriers have ATP CTP
Approved course. Anyone knows which ones ?

How will the regionals view my lack of recent time ?

Is taking a CRJ course advisable ? If so how much and who provided training ?

Any other tips, tricks, books, comments are welcomed from the APC family

Thanks everyone ahead if time

RAH will be a good match, they have special needs for LGA based pilots.

XJT has the integrated Written, if you really need that.

But a CRJ transition course for the CPT prequal might be a better choice!

Come to 9E, 15k bonus with LGA JFK as junior bases. Also a clause for employees that come back to restart back at the longevity you left at.

He needs his ATP written before he can do anything. XJT might be the only airline capable of doing this right now.

He's right Xjt is the only one if you haven't done written yet or else you have to pay for all the sim stuff before you can take the written. Read the new regs.
