Been living in Asia now for the last 7 years and i'm now starting to look at moving back home. Currently around 3000TT, with 2700 of those on the A330. No PIC jet time.
What are the realistic chances of getting a job, excluding the regionals?
Are there any carriers where it will be easier to get a California base as a junior guy? With the research i've done so far it looks like UA has a bigger presence on the west coast than DL, AA. Is that correct? Would be willing to look into VX or other carriers based in the area.
I'm pretty happy flying short/medium haul right now returning to my own bed most nights. Are any US operators better for that than others? Would prefer not to continuously fly 4-5 day short haul patterns stopping in every city from SFO to JFK.
Just trying to get some info before I go through the process of converting back to an FAA licence. Thanks
