Make an appointment with an FAA Inspector at the nearest Flight Standards District Office to where you are moving to. You can search the FAA.GOV website for locations and phone numbers. Bring all your records with you. They can provide you with the best course of action.

An alternative is to contact a flight school. Many are versed with converting an EASA license. An Indian license may be a bit more complex.

You might try the New York International Field Office here

New York International Field Office (IFO)

I've asked them international licensing questions in the past. One point, if your ATPL is issued by the IAF, it might be a problem.

PM me your email and I can put you in touch with an IAF buddy who now flies for a regional airline here. His situation was more complex because a lot of his IAF time was helicopters... but I'm sure he's done a lot of the same paperwork you're about to do. Ja Hind!

India is a signer of the Chicago Convention and a founding ICAO member. As such your Indian ATP allows you to skip getting a FAA Private and Commercial certificate and go straight to the ATP level. You'll have to
(1) pass a TSA background check
(2) have the Indian DGCA verify your license to the FAA
(3) complete the ATP Certificate Training Program if you want a ME ATP
(4) pass the ATM written test for a ME ATP (there are different tests for SE and helicopter)
(5) pass a FAA medical exam
(6) pass the ATP checkride

Everything you could possibly want to know about getting a FAA certificate based on a foreign license.

Dear Galaxy flyer
Thanks for the valuable reply but IAF does not issue licenses only allows the IAF pilots to fly the military aircraft with dgca certified iaf examiners! On completion of paper work DGCA issues the license!

Don't forget...you will need a work permit AKA "Green Card" to be eligible for any kind of employment in the US.

I would be sure you can do that before I'd bother with converting any licenses.
