Which Regional (promises) quickest flow to AA
Ok so that's the question.
I'm currently in charge of a gear handle on a roach coach so I've been looking at Envoy, Piedmont and PSA.
Which will provide the quickest flow to American mainline as they all promise it.

Probably because it's a roll of the dice due to the multiple variable that go into flow. If things stay the same and each flows their numbers with no changes, my guess would be that PDT with flow a today hire the quickest. ENY is flowing the most today with the largest pilot group but that is set to reduce. My guess would be that AAL plans to level the playing field and have all three with approximately the same flow time... but who knows. Too many variables, a flow is a great backup plan while you attempt to get hired somewhere -- but again that's just my opinion.

This question has been asked a plethora of times with a myriad of answers. PDT/ENY are very similar, approximately 6 years under current forecasts. PSA is much longer because they havea large group with the smallest percentage of flows. Envoy has a large group as well, but flows the highest percentage each year and, as another poster said, that decreases when they hit certain triggers. Piedmont has the smallest group, and the smallest number of flows, but we have an extremely high number of pilots with no intention of going to mainline and our flow is set to increase every time we hire a certain amount of pilots. PDT has the best pay, PSA has the best schedules.
Spend some time on any of the PDT/PSA/ENY/AA WO threads and you will see this reiterated many times.

A non wholly owned should be in your book of options also. Go wherever gives you the best QOL and has the best work rules according to YOU. I wouldn't be too concerned with a flow. This industry is too dynamic and promises are broken too frequently. You want to be at an airline you are happy at. You can go to AA from ANY regional. My take on it is...it doesn't make much sense for AA to take pilots from their already understaffed regionals over pilots that come off the street. Then again, I'm not a businessman. Keep those knots up! Good luck

True. But 50-60% of all of AA's slots go only to flow through pilots. The remaining 40-50% is filled by approx 75% military. So the "any regional to AA" candidate is competing for about 10% of the new hire slots.
