Default Seeking Career Advise

I've been considering applying for either PSA, Piedmont or Envoy in an attempt to kick off my airline career, but I have a few questions I need answered to be able to get a good plan together.

I'm live in Norfolk, VA. I have about 2200TT. 1100heli / 300ME / 900 SE. ATP SE/ME/Heli. I've been flying Pt 91 in CE550/560(SIC) and TMB-7(PIC) but I've realized there is no long-term career opportunity where I am at and my schedule is highly unpredictable.

1. How quickly do you go to training after applying/getting hired?
2. How long is the training?
3. What city do you go to training at?

When it comes to airline selection I'm trying to pick one with good FO pay and a flow through agreement.

-PDT seems has a crew base w/I 3hrs, but it seems there is a good chance I will be in turboprops.
-Envoy looks like good pay but no close-by crew bases
-PSA loos like they have good pay, a base in CLT which is easy to commute to.

I would appreciate any advice from those of you who have had experience with these carriers. I'm planning on sending in an application at the end of February.

As far as PDT, not likely to go to the Dash.

What makes new-hires sent to the dash or the emb? also, what are the chances of getting assigned to the crew base of my preference?

Pretty sure all are going to the 145 - could probably request the Dash if wanted..? - PHL is currently the only 145 base.

You would only go to the Dash if you specifically requested the Dash.

Thanks for the advice in spelling, but that wasn't what I asked for. You must have been an overachiever in middle school....

If you submit your cover letters, resumes, and applications with the same level of care, you'll never get the jobs you want, either.

Perhaps you think of middle school because it's not so long ago for you.

Spell check is your friend, so long as it's not a crutch for basic life skills. Understand?
