Seeking Career Advise
I've been considering applying for either PSA, Piedmont or Envoy in an attempt to kick off my airline career, but I have a few questions I need answered to be able to get a good plan together.
I'm live in Norfolk, VA. I have about 2200TT. 1100heli / 300ME / 900 SE. ATP SE/ME/Heli. I've been flying Pt 91 in CE550/560(SIC) and TMB-7(PIC) but I've realized there is no long-term career opportunity where I am at and my schedule is highly unpredictable.
1. How quickly do you go to training after applying/getting hired?
2. How long is the training?
3. What city do you go to training at?
When it comes to airline selection I'm trying to pick one with good FO pay and a flow through agreement.
-PDT seems has a crew base w/I 3hrs, but it seems there is a good chance I will be in turboprops.
-Envoy looks like good pay but no close-by crew bases
-PSA loos like they have good pay, a base in CLT which is easy to commute to.
I would appreciate any advice from those of you who have had experience with these carriers. I'm planning on sending in an application at the end of February.

Perhaps you think of middle school because it's not so long ago for you.
Spell check is your friend, so long as it's not a crutch for basic life skills. Understand?
