I upgraded to Capt on the DC-8 with zero time in it before, so I put alot of pressure on myself to know as much as possible. It was alot of work, then couple that to the fact that I did this in July and August. So instead of drinking beers at the beach watching bikini's walking by, I was in hillbilly heaven looking at fat chicks and their Jerry Springer guest boyfriends in their dumb UK hats!!!
sorry to be so crude, actually the training is OK, and Louisville isn't so bad, but it does suck in the summer!!

How many UPS 727 crews do you guys have or will be affected by the 72's demise?......... Just curious

About 50 Captains, 43 FO's, and 61 Engineers. Over 75% of the Engineers are over 60. They will be going to the DC-8 and the 747 classic.
