Why doesn't the 727 have a B in front of it?

Two lists were created during the merger of the FedEx and FTL seniority integration. One list was your Engineer seniority and the other was your pilot seniority. Some of that was left over from the merger of Seaboard and FTL

Is that because there were some professional engineers?

That makes 4,892.

.
Actually there are less pilots than this. The seniority list is only updated on July 1st every year. After that, people retire and medical out throughout the year. The current seniority number of 4892 is the July 1st seniority list plus all the new hires this year. If you subtract the retirees, the number will be less than this.

That thought occurred to me.

The 4891 I got was from totalling the totals from the seniority summary list. Something doesn't look right.

Not for long with all the plowbacks waiting for age 60 to (maybe) change.
