It took over a month from the assessment to getting a call for an interview for me. I interview in April. Some are getting called ASAP after the assessment and others it's taking longer. My application was Second Officer 2007; was unable to find a First officer 2007 application. Maybe they waited for a SO slot to open. Move over ROPEs, here I come!!

Pretty much all SO's will be ropes from here on out. You will be in the right seat of something.

Default why ropes?

Forgive the probably stupid question, but why are the older engineers referred to as "ropes"?

Retired Old Pilot Engineers, I believe is the answer.

Also known as "herpes", meaning you just can't get rid of them.

But seriously, I've had a great time flying with almost all of them. They are good guys and have really good experience.

I just received and took assessment on Friday. Had Hell of a time trying to get that because my email service wasn't letting it through! Anyway, waiting now for response.

How did you know your e-mail was not allowing the assessment to be delivered? Did you contact HR or what? Thanks

My link to the assessment is what my e-mail wasn't allowing to work. I forwarded it to another email address and it worked. I took the assessment on 2/2. I missed the call a few weeks ago. I am now starting to wonder if I missed my chance. It is all very painful right now.
