Maybe the guy who hired him and continues to keep him on the payroll needs to be carted off in a straight jacket.

Instead of spending his time taunting the pilots and "relishing" layoffs, shouldn't the President of a company be doing everything he can to try to grow it? Trying to find ways to run it more effectively and efficiently? Hounding Sales and Marketing to bring him customers to close? Why would he "relish" shrinking something at a time when the worldwide opportunities in the sector are growing significantly again, particularly in the size of aircraft that his company is most familiar with? I know some of you guys can be a handful, but that's gonna be the case with any highly-talented team in any business (or sport, for that matter). If you wanna be a corporate leader, talented people with some attitude just come with the territory, and leading and managing a team of talented folks is a calling and a privilege, which you do by always dealing fairly and thereby earning respect. The whole thing is just bizarre.

As far as they're concern, they like to see new contracts signed for reliability porpuses. They know the pilot shortage it's only gonna get worst, so I'm sure they'll like to see some fair contracts as to avoid massive exodus that could disrrupt their ops.
The myth :"the cheaper the pilots, the more business we give you" went out the window when KALITTA signed more airplanes for DHL just after they reached a new contract with their pilots with a significant pay increase.
