The Corky's isn't really Corky's but if you like grease and a lot of if it, it's good. I just got the club and it was OK.

Good luck, the food out of NRT will be much better than MEM if you choose wisely Grasshopper!

I second the Sweet Chili Salmon. Most meals have the best chocolate cake you'll find in the system!!

Guys, stop! All this talk about bbq is making me want to move to MEM. We have few really good bbq here, just have to "subsist" on salmon, halibut, scallops, mussels, oysters. Life is so tough.

I take it that you've never been to Memphis.

To be honest, Corky's isn't "really good" barbeque, either. It's average at best, by Memphis standards. They've just got a good marketing plan.

(Of course, average Memphis BBQ is better than anything anywhere else, but that's another thread. )

Bozo's is where it's at.

No, I have never been to Memphis, but if the streets are lined with the likes of Corky's and Bozo's, I might be convinced to visit. Heck, we bought a house in TX because ToiletDuck suggested I eat at the Whataburger.

MEM BBQ is overated in my opinion. I prefer Kansas City or Texas style BBQ personally.

That's your opinion.......Memphis BBQ is the best bar none!!

Cozy Corner has the best ribs you'll ever sink your teeth into. Payne's is the best sandwich for lunch. Both holes in the wall but both very, very tasty............
