It’s there. It’s called 747-400 or 767 FO. Sim instructors are line pilots. We only have a couple ground instructors, and they’re retired guys.

Maxjet ... quoted from the Atlas thread ... that application to the FAA is hopeful for the long-term continuity of K4.

I am trying to join you guys. Gave a scan of the Kalitta web site and didn’t see any pilot training openings ... are those internal only?
There are/were two job posting for Fleet Chief Pilot 747 and 767 on several websites including indeed.com. Look under Ypsilanti. While I suspect they will be filed internally it is somewhat unusual for Kalitta Air to post these jobs at all, let alone externally so maybe they are truly looking to broaden the search. Good Luck.

[QUOTE=MoarAlpha;2724051]Whats the most pay credit you have ever been able to pull off in one month? Is hazardous flying or OT the key? Just interested how much credit and number of days worked.

325 for Oct/Nov

At least 10 years that I can read back on.

DISCLAIMER: I know this has no bearing on future months and each situation is unique. Always plan on guarantee pay.
121 as an FO, 112 as a CA

I just flew my last trip for the year a few hours ago...I flew 726.4 block hours... which included only 3 days of OT. 8 year CA, TOTAL compensation 265k. (plus another 10k in 401k match) No vacation sell back included in those numbers. Also I had NO month that I only earned guarantee.

p.s. for clarity...Longhauler no longer works at K4.. he wears brown now... LOL.. good for him. And I am guessing Orka meant 325 over a two month span.

Did K4 pilots get a $50 hourly raise recently?

What's your 12 year Captain hourly rate now?

1) Define recently.

2) There’s a really nice table showing approximate hourly rates on the Kalitta Air profile, presented by AirlinePilotCentral. It’s just 3 mouse clicks away.
