Typically, before someone makes a stupid career decision for a bad reason, they cast about on the internet for someone to contradict the thousands of bad (and true) things they've heard. At this point it's practically a ritual.

The recruiter was saying the average FO flys 95 hours a month is there any truth behind that. If so it would be close to the 90K mark. She also said your paid for the time your resting during the flight as well so if it’s 12 hours and your the secondary crew you’d be paid the whole 12 hours.

I'm on 4th year pay at Atlas, and I just barely broke 80K for the first time.
There are tons of people at Atlas / Southern (including captains) leaving for places like Jetblue / Frontier / Spirit. The ones who have left seem a lot happier at their new jobs. Have you considered applying at any of those carriers?

You won't make anywhere close to $90k on 2nd year pay unless you want to be gone 25 days a month. If Atlas is telling you that you'll make that on first year pay they're lying through their teeth.

BTW, I bet the recruiters are still trying to dangle the quick upgrade carrot. The fact is that 47% of the pilots on the Southern Air seniority list were hired in the last 24 months. The first pilot hired in that wave had a quick upgrade but I would think it is safe to say the pilots hired today will have a vastly different experience.
