How much more should someone who has been changing bulbs for 30-yrs get over a new-hire bulb-changer?

Yeah, I read that FedEx is doing a study on un-manned light bulb changing. Scary stuff, probably won't happen in my life time though.

Default New bulb standard

Actually heard that the FAA was thinking of adopting the ICAO standard of allowing the reuse of older "refurbished" lightbulbs as long as there is at least one newer bulb in the cockpit...

How many liberals does it take to change a light bulb?

This is mostly a joke in search of a punchline.

None, they can't change lightbulbs because they are too busy trying to protect rights of murderers.

One to take the bulb out of the socket and accidently breaks it. One to read on the box and realize that compact flourescent bulbs contain mercury. Three to panic and say they now caused a major environmental hazard. Five to call the EPA and report this environmental catastrophe. Six to go and buy Al's book to see if it will cause global warming. Ten to begin protesting the use of evil light bulbs. Fifteen to say they're going to sue all the light bulb makers including Thomas Edison (ultimately it's his fault). Eighteen to host Hollywood gala in honor of all the light bulb warriors. And so on and so forth....

Pay me to wait for the bulb to burn out and I will change it for free.

Sounds like a bunch of pilots who don't know what they want so they continually get screwed by their employer year in and year out. Until everyone can agree and act as one, airline management will have you by your "bulbs."
