Non members were grandfathered, and in this case is probably a management pilot.
Reasons to PDO bump - Trip is going somewhere you want to go (usually involving a deadhead) or management pilot needs to fill squares.

Well, I'm on the property for 5 months so far, and I had no idea there were that many... uhmm, non-members that it would matter.
My sponsor told me about these people. I figured they were kind of like the Eastern scabs that I flew with at Express One and Kalitta Air; they did their job and you did yours, you were cordial and friendly the whole time. And if you were smart you kind of went out to dinner without them, pretending to sleep when they called your room.
That's how I plan to deal with Fdx pilots who won't join ALPA.

The best answer I ever got to PDO'ing somebody was I could bump them right up to V1 without asking.

I kind of need to do a little flying just to remember how to do everything. How do you actually PDO bump someone? I know you have to find flights and then email the person on the trip, but after that? Will scheduling allow you to do this while you sit reserve?
Thanx again!
