Default Atlas info.

Anyone have current info on Atlas interview competitive minimums and domiciles they are looking to fill? Internal recommendation weight? Thanks.

I'm on the with Polar and they do take internal recommendations seriously. They are hiring 40-50 with the first class this month and the base they are hiring for is Stanstead, England. Their union did get some relief with the Stanstead base. You can now have a "gateway" city to commute. In other words they'll fly you over there. You are required to pay taxes on the stuff, however.

Hope this helps.

Pf8d that is good information.

Do you know if Atlas is treating Stanstead England like “home basing”, where a pilot has a ticket from the US to Stanstead and flies a trip onward with layovers provided by the company?
Otherwise I’m not sure an American would (easily) be allowed to work/reside in England, or could afford to be on reserve there while buying their own lodging.

Any expanded information would be great, and thanks for what you’ve already provided.

Gateway travel means a ticket from the states. Hotels are provided for their training . . . if needed. As I said before, I'm on the Polar side of things and don't have much more information than that.

Would you recommend Atlas to someone at a Regional that wants to do some international flying?

How is their training department? Good folks, or not personable?

I don't know anything about their training department. As far as recommending someone I would have to know them pretty well as it's putting our name on the line as well. I recommended a guy and he left after saying that he was going to stay at Polar. Needless to say, my word doesn't mean anything right now.

Thanks. I just spoke to a friend of a friend who said that the training was a lot better than I had read elsewhere.

Does anybody know how often they are interviewing?
