Future plans/growth? We’re an ACMI AIRLINE.
Who do they fly for? Amazon and the military.
What type of schedules and how much behind the clock (late night) flying? Contract calls for 16 on 12 off for thirteen 28 day cycles. 50/50 day night.
Typical flying?Amazon is CONUS, military is around the world.
How long to get day and early night schedules? It’s a miss mash, there are no pure day/pure night schedules.
Base from home information? Only Hub airports?? Pure Home Based. Not imputed.
Culture? Pretty good.
Management and pilot relationship? Pretty good.
Are pilots happy? Yes
Training? Good
QoL? Home Basing makes this job the best.
401K? Yes
ZED? No but I believe we’re working on it.
ETC ?

Answers in bold. We have a few PSA folks here. I’d reach out to them.

PS:
Max is right and a veteran Freight Dog. I heed his opinions.

Id like to take a second to throw in a few nuggets about training. We have excellent training and outstanding instructors. From day one till fully signed off every instructor you meet is knowledgeable and top notch. That said, our course is designed for professional pilots. This is not a course for junior league. You will likely be challenged at some point. And this is important: you will have to put in a lot of effort on your own. It will involve digging through seemingly meaningless information.

I bring that little bit up to say that there is an ati thread in existence that has nearly all your questions answered. Just like ground school, you will have to dig through to find the info you want. In other words apply yourself. I’m not looking to be harsh, but it’s not a good look to the pilot group at ATI if a prospective candidate is unwilling to dig through and participate in an already established thread. But that’s just my .02

on the other hand it is peak and we’re flying our little tails off and perhaps are grumpy.

Am not too worried about the smart guy comments, their opinions usually don’t matter anyhow and you can find them in most forums blowing hot air. Thanks for taking the time. I have read over all the threads and videos and wanted to get a updated condensed version that could help myself and others for the current application window.

There is no wrong way to ask a question in a forum. Forums are for sharing information and am not really concerned who doesn’t like the format of my question, sorry if that’s too harsh. I have done the digging, wanted updated information as the aviation environment is very fluid at the moment. Thanks for your time.

You are correct, there is no wrong way to ask a question. Your format was good, and very easy to understand. Most of your questions have been recently answered on the other thread. However you are certainly spot on that people often blow hot air on the forums. Either way, I will answer the question that was not asked: “At the end of the day is it worth it to go to ATI?” The answer is yes. Not everything is perfect, but you will find that it’s a good place to be. As of now depending on your age, it’s not a bad place to hang your hat on. I hope that is a little more helpful.

What do the retirement numbers look like in upcoming years?
I may have missed that in the other thread.
