Letter from IPA to UPS today (http://inside.ipapilot.org/library/l...ntract_727.pdf)
{UPS SUBCONTRACTING}
In a letter to UPS Labor's Kevin Foster, the IPA reacts to UPS's
decision to subcontract two B-727s for May 31 and June 1 on two
routes. The letter from IPA President Bob Miller states that
the Company's need to subcontract outside of peak is "compelling
evidence that the airline is understaffed" and shows the "Company
has failed to anticipate the needed aircraft lift required for
the system."

I don't think it was Kalitta Charters. Although I can't be sure. All their 72's are marked with the company name.
Maybe someone can get an "N" number and then we will know for sure!

In OAK, the van driver said there were going to be charter 727s operating into OAK. It was early so I don't remember if he said 7 flights or the next 7 days. He didn't know who they were or what the freight was.
