I agree with the fact that LCA's could help dramatically with this problem. On the other hand, our Captains need to make a concerted effort to discuss this issue, as well as many other issues when flying with newhires. I am sure that if everyone made the effort over a cold beer, dinner, or breakfast, that we could ensure that our newhires were adequately educated.

So now that that is solved, what do we do with the 3rd year f/o and the 10 year captain on these dps?

Well IMHO we should publish their names in the SIG ltr instead of just saying, "The following disputed pairings were flown last week."

Nope, didn't say that. I said they need to feel some heat....publish their names in the SIG ltr, maybe it will shame them......then again maybe not, but I think its worth a try.
