Cargo pilots help children fleeing ukraine
Posting this under all cargo since it applies to us all.
A bunch of us Brown Tails have started a grass roots campaign to help refugee children fleeing the war in Ukraine. The mission is to supply them with a backpack full of necessary items (blanket, gloves, wet wipes, clean socks, underwear, stuffed animal, etc).
Please consider supporting this effort, or partnering at your carrier and starting your own. One guy I spoke with said we hoped to provide 1,500 backpacks. Imagine if everyone operating to Europe brought bags.
I fly domestic and haven’t been there, but I guess women and children by the thousands are flooding the train stations as they look for somewhere to go. I saw pictures our guys are posting from CGN and it’s heart breaking.

Incredible work being done by a team of FedEx/UPS volunteers. I’ve seen the photos and it’s amazing. I was talking to a gal who was over there last week and she said this thing is having a major impact on the refugee center in Cologne.
I’m very proud to be an IPA pilot, and also to see our group and FedEx working hand-n-hand to help these children.

UPS pilots working in tandem with other cargo freightdogs have a matching $$$ campaign which puts smiles on the faces of Ukrainian kids fleeing the Russian invasion..
