Thumbs up

I'd say 4 out of 5 times I got the first class whenever the seats were available. I always try to introduce myself to the pilots and to all the flight attendants; even the ones in the back of the airplane (I make sure not to block the flow of traffic). After all, once you get the permission from the captain, it’s up to the flight attendants where you'll be seating.

Question

- Wear the uni to get through security, then go into the bathroom and pull a superman and throw on the polo/golf shirt.

- That's what I do.

Didn't someone have a TSA guy follow him to the bathroom not too long ago? (I can’t wait for yall’s responses to that one )

But seriously, something about the guy violating the "liquid ban" by removing his uniform on the “secure side” of the airport? Was it on a different board? I swear I read about it not too long ago just can't remember where, anyone?

Kind of a requirement isn't it?

I will introduce myself to the Captn. and if they offer a seat in the rear I will then go to the lead flight attendant and ask her / him where he /she wants me. If there is a first class seat available I usually will get it. As for food I usually sleep most of the flight so it is not an issue.

P.S. as long as I am not trying to make a connection I wait to be the last off the plane so I can thank not only the pilots but also the flight attendants. Being nice goes a long, long way...... good luck.

Maybe now days but I used to commute from Ottawa Canada to ORD on AA and always sat in first. Even if there was just one seat I got it. I think a lot depends on the mood of the people you meet getting to the inside of the airplane. If you are pleasent with them and dressed sharp your chances are better than looking like a soup sandwich. Big thing is don't expect it and just be thankful you are getting the ride.

Yes it is but you split up a sentence here. So here we go:

I always introduce myself to the pilots and try to introduce myself to all the flight attendants; even the ones in the back of the airplane. Better?
