I have flown for both and no doubt ABX. Better quality of life, work rules and opp for good overtime pay. No vacation slide at ATI (if your vacation falls on off days too bad). Had jr ATI capt on js a month ago and he was complaining about how long they can keep you out (open reserve). His FO had been out for at least three weeks and sched wanted him to stay out at least another week. He called in sick.

ABX and ATI are relatively similar....you won't go wrong with either. Lots of reading online about each. They (ACMI) will all have cycles, present day both are out of growth for the foreseeable future (subject to change of course..). Upgrades/hiring will continue at each based on attrition/retirement. ABX will most likely experience a small downturn with the possibility of retiring AMZ aircraft over the next few years, but they have expansion possibilities with DHL. ATI will stagnate as the current state of AMZ expansion is nil in the 767 market. Home basing and non-home basing, different work rules, and other items that may affect your personal decision. Generally speaking (and I'm biased...) ABX will be your better choice at this point in time (ATI would have been earlier but not now..).
The clearest answer is try to get on the major players, including JBL, Spirit, etc. If you don't have those options ACMI is decent for the time being, although regionals (if highly qualified, check pilot, APD, etc.) have good short term options. You should think long term will all your decisions though (think 401K of careers).
Best of luck and happy holidays.
