I hope UPS does not have as complex a process for recording flight time as UAL???

Can somebody tell me all the different ways UPS wants your flight time broken down? In other words; total fix wing, ME turbine or ME turbo-jet / ME turbo-prop, student/dual, etc.etc?

I also agree, United was a pain in the ass -- considering they emailed me twice now to have me resubmit my flight times due to some computer error.

I'm a KC10 driver, 3500 Total Time (after .3 conversion) 1800 PIC, chief evaluator / instructor and originally from the Louisville area desperately trying to hook up with UPS. I can't wait for the online window to open back up. I missed the last window by one day due to being deployed and unable to get on the website due to Air Force computer security rules.

Sounds like you are a shoo in once they discover you!
Good luck

Can't say for sure but the flight time break down wasn't too bad. PIC in each specific turbine a/c. After that I believe it was just the total. For me all my single engine was just totaled. No conversion for the mil guys though.

No 0.3 conversion for military guys? Perhaps I misread that somewhere. Anyone else know if UPS allows for a flight time conversion for military guys?

Thanks ...

Conversion

They wanted both at the beginning of the year - converted for the application, non-converted completed after selection for interview.

I'd be cautious about the shoo-in mentality. 3 well qualified interviewees that I know were shot down recently. Not sure why some were let in (yours truly) and they were kept out. Best of luck.

I'm not taking anything for granted. I know several more qualified applicants who never made it past the initial application process.

The reason people don't make it in is just law of averages. So many people applying for so few spots means not all good quality people are going to make it. It does get frustrating, though, huh?

Agree, I got lucky, took 2 years to get the interview then 6 months swimming.
Still feel lucky. It is frustrating watching buds get spun around. Haven't found the dart board at Brown yet :o
