Default UPS app window re-opening....soon

Repost from hiring forum:

Have info from a VERY reliable source that the app window will open again in Aug or Sept and those without transoceanic crossing experience will once again be able to apply. Get your resumes ready.

Since you mentioned "resume", does the UPS application process require applicants to attach/cut-and-paste a resume on-line, or does one just need to fill in times, answer questions, etc? Just want to be ready.

...you will want to have a resume/cover sheet ready. If you are using MS - Word you should not have any problems uploading or cutting- and-pasting....You will also have the usual application portion to fill out...

Have all past employment history stuff handy as well. If it is like the past windows then the application will NOT let you save your place. Be prepared to spend an hour, maybe longer, if you don't have your stuff handy and organized.

Once you get it finished there is NO normal time line for the process to work.

Blue Skies and good luck!

Thanks for the information. Will they want to know about non-aviation employment? All my flying has been military, but I did work for an engineering consulting firm just out of college. Also, will they want to know that I worked worked for UPS very briefly as a package runner during a Christmas break in college (way back in 1992)?

I believe YES to all your questions, however all will be answered when you fill out the application.

I believe it is a 10 year work history. I think there is something about ever working for UPS. Your file will be looked at.
