Default Airplanes at outstations

Just curious.

I fly in and out of Grand Junction, CO (GJT) a few times a week and there is a FedEx 727 there every day that leaves around 8pm. On the weekends, though, it doesnt leave. What does the crew do from Friday night - Monday afternoon?

Also, is it typically the same crew all week, meaning a weeks worth of GJT overnights?

Have always wondered how your crew schedules work.

Well ... it's FedEx so they're "overdays."

Maybe layover...Maybe D/H. Sometimes same crew...Sometimes not.

Our crew schedules are constantly changing. Very seldom for the better.

Find a FedEx bud and get the lowdown. You could be Al Qaeda, asking these questions, for all we know.

I would j/s on old Lakes Air back home to Denver to drink and ski and bike and drink. Here's to the old 'Book Cliffs 1' arrival in the 1900.

Do they have enough little paper umbrellas for you to do all that drinking you're talking about?
