Default Roth 401k deductions @ UPS

Can any UPSers that enrolled for Roth 401k deductions tell me if you have seen them start? My latest earnings statement or the Fidelity site do not show any sign of Roth accumulation yet but my regular 401k deductions (which I reduced at the same time) have been reduced.

Default Mine did...

On the Fidelity website, click on the 'UPS/IPA 401K SAVINGS' link...then, click on the 'Sources' tab. Here, it should specify ROTH BASIC if you've been enrolled.

Hope that helps...

Didn't see a deduction on this Monday's paycheck, and I did sign up on Fidelity's site.

Default Ups/ipa Mpp

Hey fellas,
What is the UPS/IPA MPP? It is listed with the other 401K you are talking about on the Fidelity website, but is somehow another account or plan it seems. I have some $$ going into the traditional 401K, but not the MPP.

- it is your B-plan, it also means you're a new guy/gal and your B-plan hasn't kicked in yet.

It took almost 2 weeks before it started working. If your regular 401K deductions have been reduced your Roth 401K should be working as well. When I check my pay stub on Crew Applications (ras.ups…) my regular 401K now shows "0" (which is what I selected), however just a few rows higher you’ll see a new code there: GTN : (463). That’s the new Roth 401K code (not sure what it stands for).

Also, when I check my pay stub on upsers.com instead, this code is not being used, instead the full name "ROTH 401K" is being used. If you’ve never checked your pay on that website here’s how: – once you log in – click on My Life and Career (on top), then Paycheck (bottom, left).

Hope this helps.

I'm sure you did it the correct way but I wanted to double check. You don't really "sign up" - you simply change deductions from one plan to another. Again, I'm sure that's what you did - check again your pay stub for that code GTN : (463), maybe it's already there?

No sign of the Roth deduction as separate code on the earnings statement or upsers.com pay stub. I did double check Fidelitie's site and it appeared that by starting contributions to the Roth 401k that my investment choices had somehow been reset to the default target date plan. I have fixed that up and hopefully that plus and extra two weeks kicks it back in next pay period.

Very true, but I doubt there's any risk of "new guys" having filled up the limit already...
