UPS classes through end of the year
Does anyone know how many NH classes UPS has planned for the rest of the year. I'd heard once before that when things get busy over the holidays they dont start any new classes because they need the instructors to fly. Is that true and if so does anyone know when the last class is supposed to start?

I had heard from a gal in HR, that sometime in OCT wll be the last class till the first of next year....just hearsay hopefully I'm wrong, but I can imagine the schoolhouse is still jammed up and the MD11 sim will probably be put on e-bay anyday now.
Now, more importantly, are the instructors coming out to fly the line ??? Holy Sweet Moses...this could be interesting. Capt Mongo to the bridge and bring your headgear.

Rick Barr told me this past week that there will be displacements off of the 747 classic beginning in Oct. I asked how many and he said maybe the bottom third. So the schoolhouse will be busy training about 40 pilots coming off of the whale this fall and winter.

a buddy of mine was doing sim support this week and he said they are going down to 30 crews off the October displacement.
