Nope. Big Brown was the launch customer for the 757-200F (or PF).

I believe that Challenge got their 757's in '89, 2 years after UPS did.

I remember the Challenge purchase, I live in Miami, and remember what happened to the pilots in the deal, but was not aware that the aircraft was not part of the deal also. Thanks!

The aircraft went back to the "leasing" company, and were subsequently dispersed around the world, so much so, DHL may have all 3 of them by now, but there was a 4th 757pf built by the factory for Zambia airways, back in 89-90, i was in Zambia when it arrived and it too i believe is flying for DHL now after Zambian went fins up in the tank. UPS was the launch for the 57 frieghter. They wish they had 30 more of them now, and as for Boeing, they wish they still made them, the 57 had picked up the cargo where the 27 left off and the 67 was just a little too big to justify.

I don't even work at UPS but I recall that Ryan got some of, if not the first, 757PFs and then flew them for UPS. This was around '87-'88.
