Default Carryover conflicting with R-days

Question: if you have a carryover trip that conflicts with a string of R-days in the new bid month, what happens to that string? Do you just lose those R-days that conflict or do you lose the whole string of R-days?

Thanks,
SG

One, you don't lose them, they go in your make up bank. I believe the whole string is dropped. Then you can do CIC make up with priority and drop more R Days. Wait, you're not a Bus captain are you?

You lose down to the 12 hour buffer, I think.. Kind of like when RB carrys in to RA... You should get a crew notification... Check your make-up bank?

I'm hoping the whole string will be dropped so I can make it up later. It's vague in the CBA and not sure who to ask at the company (future scheduling)...and no I'm not on the Bus yet.

Thanks again,
SG

I had this a couple of months ago, only the days that conflict (actually overlap, or hit a 12 hour buffer) will be dropped. The dropped days will be in your makeup bank, the hours that are dropped are available for CIC award up to the total hours dropped +6 ( I'm pretty sure it's +6) The total number of hours that are available for CIC award will be shown to you in the conflict input window. If you don't do a CIC award the hours just stay in the makeup bank.

Exactly. Had this situation in August and September. Had a Sun afternoon to Mon night carryover. Only my R day for Monday the 27th was dropped. The rest of the string of B Rsv is still there. 1 R-day value added to my makeup bank.
