Hmm, I haven't heard that, I was told they do our flying in and out of China to cities we can't fly into. At first I thought they only had converted 737s until I saw one of their 747s in Qingdao (TAO). I would love to know what a Yangtzee 747 captain makes... ...and sacks of rice don't count!

While we're on the topic, your MD-11s are way better. Apparently they all have bunks AND seats. Who cares about profits and global market share, I want sleepers on every bird!

FedEx CP quote from the recent past--
"UPS will look more like FedEx in a few years and FedEx will look more like UPS."
FedEx has been growing in the ground freight side. This business is in a downturn and recent growth in that area has not resulted in good profit. But at least one analyst still thinks buying Watkins trucking was a very good move. A necessary area of growth for FedEx.
UPS is growing in Europe and China. FedEx is too.
For UPS' growth internationally--Is it just freight or is there some express cargo too? The real prize will be the most express cargo. It will take awhile for the network to flesh out internationally. Interesting times.

Yes, they are called container ships
I'm not looking to get into a "whose weiner is bigger contest", frankly, I don't care. I don't care if we are number 5 or number 25 as long as I get a nice fat paycheck every two weeks. Maybe I am too mercenary, but I learned a long time ago not to love anything that is incapable of loving me back.

Now that's a really GROSS idea. I can certainly understand your wanting to shed your brown uniforms, but please, purple pants would be just as bad, and the combination of the two, well, that would be over the top.
