757 CDG FOs--Newhires or "Senior 727 FO's"?

Gun,
Folks may not bid this FDA in CDG, but if they are qualified in the 75 in Mempho...well, I would say to pack your bags for that fun filled 30 STV Vacation! That was one of the major downfalls of this LOA. In fact, it was the reason I voted no. I don't agree with the inverse manning every six months because I happen to be in one of the aircraft that are in these locales...
I still say there will be some new hires in the FO seat, but I also see some junior S/O's who may want an adventure. I honestly don't see may folks going back to the school house to learn a new aircraft for a raise in per diem. I also don't see folks down bidding from the W/B to narrowbody.
We're pilots, and quite frankly, most of us want to maximize time off while getting the maximum amount of pay. FO in CDG really doesn't lend to this.
But that's just one person's opinion.
I think it will be interseting to see what happens when the dust settles.

At 30 I would have been all over Paris. At 35...a solid "maybe". At 42 with 3 kids in schools....sounds like fun but I'll have to pass....
Might be a great fit for some of our younger guys--guys who did 7/9 in the military or where lucky enough to get hired out of a regional at a young age.
Time will tell. Honestly--hope EVERYONE is happy. Lots of happy new hires, or guys who bid it by choice--or even some 3 month "good deal" volunteers. If we get guys getting beaten up with 1 month non-vols, then we'll know we made a mistake.

At left seat pay, yes it is. And that's only my BLG. Throw in a day of carryover and I am a very happy well paid guy.
Anyway, that was just an example for an outsider who asked. High Line Credit from the Oct 727 bidpack is 95:36. I'd call that a lot more. Of course, feel free to disagree.

Before any bill goes up to the Pres, the differences between the Senate version and the HR version get hammered out in committee.
and sometimes, the product that comes out, is dramatically different.
