Default Anchorage overide pay for 744 "UPS"?

I'm a soon to be new hire based in Anchorage on the 744 Oct 1 class date. Does anyone have solid info on whether the overide pay is just for the MD11 as the contract says or does it also apply to the 744?

Thanks
O.S.

I believe the override applies to the ANC base, not just the MD11. Being a new domicile, and the fact that is went very junior, this is what was agreed to to help the new hires. Congrats and welcome aboard!

The overide and move, as of now, only applies to the MD-11. From what I understand they are trying to have it applied to the 74-400 also, but not as of yet.

Cheers

How were you notified you got the 744? I'm also in the Oct 1st class but they just said, "Anchorage," and I'd find out the aircraft when I showed. See you there.

Unfortunately it's only for the MD11 for now. However, the union is working on resolving this issue, as well as the leather jacket issue (if hired after Sept 1 2006, new hires have to pay for the jacket themselves)

When HR called and offered me the job, I was offered Anchorage 744. I'm happy about the 744 but a little disappointed with no overide, it will make the first year a bit more difficult. I'm still overyjoyed to be at UPS.

See you in Class.

I just checked out the price on the airupsers website.....$393 American greenbacks. Ouch....I guess I'll wait until second year pay.

If you read the LOA, it states that the benefits are for new hires in the ANC domicile and not aircraft specific.

Holy Smokes!!!!!!!!!! That's insane! I thought it was around $260. On the bright side, the new black coats are nice if you want to skip the leather jacket.
