True story. Iris Peterson retired earlier this year. She started at UAL in 1946!!!! 60 years on the job! She was 85 years old and number 1 on the FA seniority list when she left. Unbelievable.

Post another message so I can PM you.

Ask and you shall receive. Sorry to derail the thread, but I can't figure out how to PM here? And I guess I'm too lazy to figure out how...

Unless he quit within the last year, ATA has one that's 79 or 80. I first flew with him when he was a youngster, just 75.

Is he the one who died in Narita during the preflight? I believe he had a heart attack and they found him on the ground under the main gear wheel well - he was holding his flashlight in his hand. This happened some 10 years ago? Not sure if the story is true but I heard it from a former United pilot.

How about the oldest flight instructor? I’ve actually had the pleasure to fly with Mama Bird. Pretty neat lady!
