Default Turbine SIC vs Recip PIC

Would FedEx rather hire someone with:
2800 TT
2100 Total PIC (1000 ME PIC)
800 Turbine SIC

Or:

2800 TT
1100 Total PIC (80 ME PIC)
1800 Turbine SIC

I currently have 1800 TT, 1100 Total PIC (80 ME PIC), 800 Turbine SIC and am thinking of how I can get to FedEx or UPS in the future. I'm currently building time as FO in the CRJ and have an offer to fly for PenAir in Alaska. PenAir would hire me as a navajo or chieftain captain.

As for the fun factor, I have already flown in Alaska but couldn't keep my job when the season ended in the fall. I love it there, have tons of friends there, and would love to work for PenAir. The only thing stopping me is the idea that it would set me back towards my goal of flying heavies.

(Another option would be to wait for the CRJ upgrade next year and just continue building turbine time. But then I'd miss the Alaska adventure flying... CRJs are booooring!)

I would say the former. Sorry about that, right now, FedEx requires 1,000multi-engine PIC. Don't toss in the towel, you'll get there.

Ditto for UPS. Get the TPIC. It may not be the answer you're looking for but without the Turbine PIC you're just not going to get hired. Good luck to you. Oldfr8dog.
