Default W-4 Withholding Question

I seem to be payroll challenged here - I am trying to change my W-4 Withholdings, but can't seem to find any way to contact a person at Crew Pay or wherever it is I should send this IRS form. Anyone out there know how this works?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I just did that a few months ago and I used the "green screen." No need to send in a form.

I've heard you can do it thru the green screen, someone who's been here longer than me who's actually used it can chime in with some details.

yep, just select mainframe from our homepage, launch the greenscreen, type 'ims' and then follow the prompts. There is a selection once you get in to change your w4 info.

follow the above steps; use your empl#/password and then type 1 or prism once you get past all that. The selection for w4 stuff is called "w4 maint" or something like that under "payroll" selection. There's some other stuff in there as well, like checking the exact amount of your next check a few days before its sent out. Hope this helps.

Just a heads up. Do not enter more than 10 exemptions; the company forwards a report under IRS rules if your exemptions exceed that. You've heard of "waving a red flag"? That's one. FYI.

Thanks Slime, you and the IRS used to be on a first name basis!

Again, Thanks for all the great info - Using the screen was relatively painless this time around! And thanks for the "no higher than 10" gouge - I have enough stress without creating my own un-needed!
