New CAN construction
Does anybody know if the construction in the picture is the new FedEx facility? The union officers that went on their paid FDA vacation said the FedEx hub appeared to be as big as MEM.

Seriously Mark, have you ever seen a FedEx hub facility that had anything at all to do with art? I don't think so. This company wouldn't spend even one additional RMB on that facility. I'd bet that regardless of the size of the new hub, there will still be only one mens and one ladies bathroom in the entire place. But I've been wrong before.... there was that time back in '95.

I'm sure there's an easier way to center the airport, but all I can offer at this point is to click on that link, then click the up arrow 4 times(airport is well north of town, about 20 KM) and the zoom plus button two times. You'll see the airport clearly from there and can then scroll around and zoom at will.
Don't know how recent those pics are, but the ramp is in the NW corner of the airport. Not sure which buildings will be the hub either, but you get an idea of the area they have to work with. Looks like they have lots of room for sort facility building, but I only count room for parking about 15 aircraft. Not really a capacity increase over SFS if that is true.

Ya know, if you put a GBU-10 with .05 sec delay on the northern and southern corners of that long building if will drop in on itself and then you could cut the roads leading up to that area with....oops....sorry. Some bleed thru from the last time I studied satellite photos from China. Yuk, yuk.
