Almost hate to say it, but, sticking with the Hore

I try to avoid the Planet as it is, certainly not going to jump in for a meeting on a day off. Hub turning is tough enough, doing it sans pay......don't think so.

I was wondering if ALPA gave a week or two's notice for a midnight hub turn meeting, how many commuters would jump in to attend? As well, how many pilots would get out of bed in Germantown, Collierville, Cordova, etc, etc, and drive in to attend? Bet it wouldn't be many.

Oh yeah, forgot....participation in meetings is publicly encouraged, but in reality..........

Count me as one of those guys in G-Town who will not be getting out of a warm bed to attend...........

This of course would be a great best solution, thereby allowing guys all over the world to stay current.

Exactly, I got the line from ALPA that "you could commute in from the west coast to attend our meetings if you really wanted to involved" during the FDA stuff. Thanks, pay me for my trips like you get and then I will consider it. Either that or let's get some decent on line dialog where everyone can get involved. Meanwhile, I don't blame the Memphites for not getting out of bed with a 12 hour notice to listen to some dribble that probably won't address anything substantive. When was the last time you ever received anything from the ALPA email that you did not hear from the company first, except Memphis pilots for kids or whatever?
