My advisor has been doing my allocation for several years now and other fedex pilots as well starting out at 60-75 basis points(50 would be 1/2%; 75 being 3/4%). If you have regular investment account with him he only charges 50 basis points. He charges 1% from $25,000 to infinity on his SAM accounts(regular investment accounts) billed quarterly with no increase for more money and is versed in our 401k funds(group rate for Fedex pilots with above listed basis points.) He has several Fedex pilots as clients and a few Northwest that I know of. He is very familiar with our Company, our 401K, the funds in it, and how our pension plan works. He's got pilots ranging from about to retire to guys that have been at fedex from only a few years. He comes to Memphis 1-2 month to meet with clients.
So, annual fees are ....?

With a SAM account: Non-FedEx - 1%, Fedex - 1/2%

No SAM: FedEx - around 3/4%

Correct?

I was going to say...he's in Collierville....think he might know about Fedex stuff....but I'm trying to rise above sarcasm. He works with a lot of Fedex guys and will be glad to discuss his philosophy, track record and fees with you. Call at that number or e-mail him: [email protected]

that's it as far as I can tell. give him a call he's a lot better at explaining all this than I am. He'll be down in Memphis next week meeting with most of his clients down here and in Oxford, MS. I'm sure he's got some openings.

The best advice I can give, is to NEVER take any Financial Advice from a Pilot.........

........So don't listen to me!
