FO slot assigned to reserve too, good news. I would really like to see a 6 SFS Hub Turn pairing go away forever.:)

I think it is outrageous that it can be a DP because it is unsafe, but they can be assigned to reserves. Let's worry about the 90% of the DP's in MEM that are being flown by volunteers.

Uh, hold on, before you burst a blood vessel...

There, feel better? Look, I'm not calling out a reserve for flying a DP, just pointing out how it was assigned, I just assumed that you knew, that I knew, that you knew that I knew....... Sheesh! I'm the guy that started posting the links to DPs on this board in the first place (Ask Tony!). I guess I shouldn't ASSuME anymore, for you, huh?:(

FWIW, I and the "non-volunteer" Capt talked on the phone yesterday about the fact that he was probably gonna get that trip! Expect an indepth written to the SIG!:p

So far the 727 F/O's appear to be doing pretty well...still a bunch of those disputed pairings left in open time. What gives with the S/O's? A boat load of 650xxx employee numbers. Hey...S/O LCA's...are you guys 'splainin' things to these guys during IOE? Or are these guys just so junior that they don't mind screwing things up for everyone else?

****es me off that one of the Dimento's is picking up disputed pairings. ***??
Does no one else see what the schedules are turning into? Talk about screwing your bro's, literally. What is there about 3 of them here, where are your bros to set you straight.

I know MD and emailed him. He admitted he screwed up during the open time frenzy like many others have done. Didnt realize it was disputed until within 48 hour window and was too late to trade out. Yes he should have known and all that, but I think he'll be more careful in the future.

No black helicopters here. MD is a good dude who messed up. Bang him for that but not because his brother is in management. And PD is in my opinion of of the good guys in that office.

Another "GOOD DUDE".

Yeah, whatever. He had plenty of time to look it up before the open time feeding frenzy. Which was not a frenzy this month. I am not buying, so stop trying to sell me your BS.

No BS.
I agree that he had time and should have known better. The guy messed up. I dont think he'll do it again. People were asking if anyone called him on it and here is the answer.

Quite a few marines picking up disputed pairings as well this month. Any chance you could drop them a note USMCFDX. I think it is going to take some buddies ragging on these guys until they learn that they are screwing us all. I can't believe how bad some of the pairings are that these guys are willingly doing.

I am glad to hear that MD's buddies called him, but it still looks like he is on it to me.

USMCFDX 03-07-2008 08:49 AM

Believe me if someone I even remotely know picks one up they hear about it from me. Two were not to happy with what I had to saw to them (but those pick ups were during contract negotiations).
