Wow, lighten up. I just did not understand what you were trying to get at. Now I do. No anger or attitude.

Hey...S/O LCA's...are you guys 'splainin' things to these guys during IOE? Or are these guys just so junior that they don't mind screwing things up for everyone else?

So, I man-up and drop the disputed pairing that I mistakenly asked for on my secondary line worksheet, lose 37+ hours of pay, and a fellow 727 F/O "team player" picked it up. Now it's personal to me.

And much to my surprise, his calendar is blocked! What a shocker! So here's his info..........

You did the right thing. But...now what? Some idiot comes along and sweeps it away. So only you, and the other good guys out there who have tried to do it right, are getting hurt. And the scumbags skim the cream for their own benefit, with no negative fallout.

Our leadership needs to realize it's time to quit asking, and time to start telling. There need to be repurcussions. One thing is certain: the current method ain't working too well.

agree 100%, but just to be clear, it is not the "cream" they are skimming ! :eek:haha, insert your own term of endearment... how about "skimming any chance improving pairing quality for your own personal, sick, perverted, twisted, selfish, whack job, lack of foresight P.O.S reasons"

Ok now someone else's turn !

His fearless captain has TWO of the DPs! Maybe during his training event later in the month, someone can debrief him on the error of his ways.....just a friendly chat!

Malter, you did the right thing. I had a BIG trip dropped due to a conflict, and the only thing in open time to make me whole was a 57 hour disputed pairing. I asked my better half if she remembered what first year pay was like and she said "yes". That month, we relived it. If we ever meet up, the drinks are on me. Keep the faith.

Our "Good guy" M D*mento is flying his DP as we speak. Did anyone ever talk to this guy? All I know is that the Capt. and FO are ANC guys that had it assigned out of reserve and that I am sure at some point across the pond they have figured out that he got the trip voluntarily. I hope they make it very uncomfortable for him.
And I agree the system is not working and the schedules are going downhill fast.
