TonyC,
I did not imply that. I'm jsut saying that if you know someone is a worthless pilot or person, we have an obligation to keep him out of our ranks. do you disagree.

What, now you're implying CRJammin is a worthless pilot or person, just because you didn't like what he posted? Is that why you would black ball him?

No, you didn't just say that we have an obligation to keep worthless pilots and persons out of our ranks, you implied that such persons were responsible for recent aircraft accidents. THAT, sir, is irresponsible.

Wo Wo Wo, take a step back

"Thanks for deflecting my question. It's a serious one, but I'll admit if FedEx hired me I don't believe I would leave (except for UPS maybe)."

This was his post. This is why I would blackball him if I could. Got nothin' to do with his flying ability. He just said he would take a job with FedEx then quit to go to UPS. Nothing against UPS. If he said the same thing about getting hired their and then quitting to come here, I'd' do the same thing. And I never meant to insinuate that all the accidents we have had were because of "bad pilots" Now are we freinds again?

Who said fecav8r was a Marine or were you speaking of Fred Smith? (USMC A-4 pilot)

Fred Smith was not a military pilot.

There are lots of “Fred Smiths”

I am pretty sure you are NOT talking about the founder of Federal Express, right? If you are -you have been duped and are operating with your head up your butt.

Fredrick W. Smith, founder of FedEx, was NOT a USMC Aviator!! EVER!! He is a legend in his own mind, having started a rumor to the effect he was .. and I have seen him stand there, beaming, while the likes of Sen. Bob Dole called him a former “Marine Aviator”. He has unethicaly and immorally NEVER tried to dispel that misconception. . I guess it is part of his ‘legend’ . . which is BOGUS!!

‘Our’ Fred Smith was a USMC infantry officer who became a FAC in his second Nam tour -and flew in the BACK SEAT of the OV-10 (with a map and a pair of binoculars). I doubt he knows what an A-4 looks like. :p While he did get his civilian pilot’s license AFTER his service, he was NEVER a military pilot MUCH LESS a “Naval Aviator”!!! His ‘legend building’ is just ONE of the reasons I really dislike the guy!

Wise up!

A REAL Naval Aviator

Capt who Knows Better

Personally I wouldn't blackball any body except a SCAB.

I also would never turn in a fellow Pilot to MGT for an infraction.

Capt Who Knows alittle about Capt's who know better

Man, Drew, you bash me for having "Fedex1" as a screen name, and you bash all marines, such as Fred Smith....???

Please . . tell me how I have ‘bashed’ him?

By pointing out the truth?

Have you even read the book about him? Lying about (and living on the false legend) being a Marine pilot is just a MINOR part of his immoral and unethical life-long behavior.

Fedex999999 04-13-2006 11:45 AM

I agree Fred has allowed people to think he was a pilot. Do you know how many senior captains I have flown with that thought this??

I was speaking about the quote I had in my post from you- about Marines having a hard time with grammar and syntax. I never made any personal insults towards Fred, or Marines, and never mentioned his never having been a military pilot. I just added a "1" to "Fedex" since I figured it came after a name that had no number. And you said I was presumptuous to take Fred's employee number. Silly me.

I am not trying to get in a ****ing contest, but I guess by continuing to post, I just have.
