ALPA Boards
Anyone who wants to chat VFR direct with me--my phone and email are now posted on the FDX/ALPA webboards. I'll also be glad to banter in greater detail over there on some issues if you want to chat.
It doesn't mean I won't come over here and call Laughing Jackal and Sniz homos every once in a while...but I'd like to cover the most serious of questions over there. The reason is I can encourage THEY to get invovled...you know...the omininous THEM that screw everything up

It is my goal to pull our NC, legal, and other committee guys into the fray to answer your questions or provide the solid answers some of you request instead of the "I think" (Albie std) or "I'll be back to you" (another of my personal favorites..).
If you want to go over and call me a *&( or a *$%#-*^%$ that's fine..and you can still use a screen name if it makes you feel better. However, if you want to get some answers I think it would be a good forum. When I chat at lunch, or answer a phone call...it helps that person. If we keep a BLOG of questions and info I think it has the potential to help a lot more folks.
New idea--execution may be a little stop/start at first...but I want to try. Hope to see some of you FDX types over there...

guys...this is my last post...the company is all over this board...be careful what u say..this board is more important than running the airline i guess...the alpa board is a better place to discuss this stuff...i agree with albie...i'm outta here!

If you never write down what you would not say in person to another person...including an ACP...you'll stay out of trouble.
The boards aren't a problem. The false impression of being anonymous, however, has bitten more than a few folks in the butt.

Agreed. Don't say it on the ALPA board either, because management reads that one too.
Given that management reads both, combined with ALPA's lack of tolerance for expression of dissenting opinions, I think we may be better off here. The MEC and management can both read all they want, but here at least, the MEC can't edit for content.
