It seems that the company is trying to get people to replace the purple nuggets and the very junior guys in HK, so that they can furlow without shutting down Asia

I counted 732 +/- training cycles required to fill this bid. That will take forever.

You don't train 700 + just to furlough. They could furlough without any excesses. Filling HKG is the motive here.

Hmmm.....HKG still seems very junior to me. A furlough comes and they are gone, too.

All this is is an attempt to fill HKG....period! Good news is they're getting close. I completely agree that once HKG is filled, they'll start singing a different tune to us. Hang tough guys and gals, it's almost over.

Show me the training letter...it's going to be a MONSTER!! I too place my bet that once HKG is filled, no more excesses, people will sit where they're at and the training letter will be canx. 700 plus to train? Give me a break!

They're going to do/say anything to get HKG filled.

We're still making money and our f protection is the junior guys who jumped on this grenade.

I read somewhere on this board that those based in HKG are pretty safe from being furloughed. Do they have some kind of furlough protection or did I misunderstand the post?
